ACTIVISM & RESISTANCE

We are living the legacy of past social/activist movements achievements. Previous resistance movements fought for the abolishment of slavery, womens' voting rights, minimum wage, end of Vietnam war, human rights, and so much more. While living in current times of climate change, war, genocide, and inequalities, it is uttermost important to learn from past and global movements on how to resist the oppressive systems that are the cause of our current state of the world. Collectively we can learn how the oppressive systems work, to organise ourselves, how to take action and to ultimately create the world where we want to live in. This resistance comes in many forms, both underground and public & loud. With OtherWise, we work to cultivate resistance rooted in the regenerative desire for an inclusive, connected, and caring world. Universities have historically harbored resistance in their student populations as sites to unlearn and shift paradigms.
